In this unit we will dive into all things Jean-Michele Basquiat - We will explore the literary works of two authors with read-alouds and discussion questions. There are four unique art explorations that each reference a different work of Basquiat’s and focus on important elements of art including motifs and themes. Projects include using found materials, graphite transfer paper and a simple print making process using foam printing plates.
